Mixup starting making films in January 1979, first using super 8mm film, a little 16mm, later video and later still phone footage etc. The 70’s and 80’s footage was shot as it happened and remained unedited. After that, some edited films emerged, although until this day they have a loose narrative, and rather employ the notion of psychedelia and surrealism as the guiding rules, or not as the case may be. Ranging from an edited narrative to basic footage and in some cases a still, some, will fall either side of what constitutes and defines a ‘film’.
