About

A baby in the fifties, a kid in the sixties, a teen in the seventies, my outlook was moulded by that great post war youth movement especially the psychedelic and surreal part of it. Growing up in Nottingham, I was part of the ‘Weekend Lunatics’ in the late seventies and the ‘Sic Boys’ in the early eighties taking part in many artistic and musical adventures. By the end of that decade I pursued further education at Trent University and again in the mid nineties. I founded the ‘International Photobooth Convention’, started my own record label and continue to create a wide ranging array of arts from masks, photography, music, films, writing and history projects. I have led events alone and as part of a team, from independent idea’s to working at the V&A. I work in both analogue and digital mediums, small and large, some of which doesn’t reach a ‘finished piece‘ but is part of the process of creativity.
